Amanda Dayton, MSN, ACNPC-AG
Amanda Dayton, RN, MSN, ACNPC-AG is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science from Northern Arizona University in Nursing. Amanda went on to work as a bedside nurse for six years in the Intensive Care Unit and Intermediate Cardiac Care Unit. Many of the patients she took care of were pre/post heart transplant, artificial heart transplant and left ventricular assist device (LVAD) patients. Amanda went on to Grand Canyon University where she received her Master’s Degree as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She previously worked at North Texas Heart and Vascular in Burleson, Texas before moving to Weatherford, Texas and joining the Heart Center of North Texas.
Amanda is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing, and has professional affiliations with the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Association and she also holds a certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, crafting, as well as playing and watching sporting events.
